This mod can be done on any 4-button line 6 pedal, as they are all identical except for the EPROM chip inside. Once completed, your pedal will function the way most companies who build effects manufacture their pedals to begin with, using an actual footswitch that's been soldered in to the board. Line 6 uses chooses to use tactile footswitches instead as it probably saves about 10 cents in labour for each pedal the produce. For them (like any other major corporation), it's all about the bottom line. Once, I actually called Line 6's technical support to tell them of my perils and the guy on the other end basically said "well if it's not under warranty anymore than too bad buddy!" If you have been having trouble with your DL-4's footswitches lately, this mod is something I'd highly recommend. This is the second DL-4 I have repaired in this way. The first one I fixed about five months ago, went from being completely unusable to working better than it did when it came NEW from the box. I simply rely on these things too heavily during my shows for them to only work "most" of the time. I also have broken at least 4 of these things on tour and became fed up with buying new ones. To work with emotions, there are a few things you can do: You must somehow spend this creative energy. Ask yourself what you would do. You don't want to spend this whole lifetime spending this old emotion. So how to exhaust it: There are one of two ways: just fantasy. Just live that fantasy. Another way is a little difficult: work with it through your dreams. Through dreams you can expend or exhaust lifetimes of experiences in just a few dreams. The problem is you don't remember your dreams. Dreams are the fastest route to spend or exhaust the emotions you have. You don't want to be stuck with the old emotions. Dump all your old emotions. Then you can live in the now. There are infinite possibilities in the now. But this is a road that is less traveled. It takes a lot of consciousness to go against karmic forces. In 2003's historic recall election, the former Mr. Olympia pummeled dozens of candidates—from incumbent Gray Davis to former child actor Gary Coleman to porn star Mary Carey—on the road to Sacramento. He promised to abolish the odious car tax hike implemented by Davis. And to balance the budget, cut taxes and spending, and make California more business-friendly. "He promised to stop the crazy deficit spending, cut up the credit cards, live within our means. And he did exactly the opposite.
